Main Lobby

Enter the 9,400 square foot Main Lobby and the first thing you will notice is the video wall made up of twenty-one 50-inch flat panel monitors.  Utilize Sony's new state-of-the-art Ziris software to schedule video coupled with sound pumping out over the 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound System and your guests won't know what hit them!

Turn around and covering almost the entire North wall of the Main Lobby is the largest mural in the country, a priceless piece entitiled the Seven Lively Arts.  Famous Canadian artist, York Wilson was commissioned to create the mural for the 1960 opening of what was then called The O'Keefe Centre.

You can walk into the Main Lobby, ask Chef Stephen Lee to customize a menu for you and host a reception for a thousand collegues without bringing in much more.  Or, use the space as a blank palate and see how creative you can be in designing a space that Sony Centre employees would not recognize.  Whether meetings, dinners, trade shows, receptions or even weddings (Sony Centre CEO Dan Brambilla was married in this very space just prior to the official reopening), the Main Lobby is a versatile, yet elegant space to host a function.
